A social value engine

This space has been set up to explore a set of questions and to see if anything comes out the other side.

Some (but not all) of the questions:

Can we capture the value that what we do has on the world?
Can we get beyond the insufficient snapshots that so-called social impact tools offer us?
What if we could create a story of impact, a narrative of value, a portfolio of outcomes, a constellation of consequences, a network effect of what we do?
What would that look like?
How rich, detailed and deep could we go whilst ensuring it is simple and easy to understand?
How can we use the big data out there in open datasets, combined with the micro-narratives of Twitter and rich qualitative data of photos, audio and video clips effectively together?
What is your social value and what are you doing to improve it?
