Social value commitments are easy to make and hard to follow. Once a contract is awarded or a grant is made, the promises written into the winning submission often disappear into spreadsheets, quarterly returns and inboxes. The funder loses sight of progress, the delivery partner loses time chasing formats, and the community the commitment was made for rarely hears what happened.
SVE Connect, now live, is built for that stage of the process. It links procurement teams, commissioners, funders and grant-makers with their suppliers and delivery partners in one place, so commitments made at award become a live record of delivery. Each partner reports progress against agreed outcomes, evidence sits alongside the numbers, and progress is visible to both sides throughout the life of the contract or grant.
What SVE Connect does
SVE Connect is a portfolio management product for organisations overseeing social value delivered by several external or internal teams. It replaces fragmented reporting, where one supplier sends KPIs, another sends a spreadsheet and a grant recipient sends a narrative report, with a common outcome-measurement framework that still reflects the people, place and circumstances of each project.
Connect runs on the same measurement engine as the rest of the Social Value Engine family, drawing on 650+ research-backed financial proxies from 100+ sources and over a decade of methodology accredited by Social Value International. Every figure traces back to its outcome, proxy, source, quantity and adjustments, so the value reported through Connect is calculated consistently, whoever is doing the reporting, and can stand up to scrutiny from auditors, members and boards.
